The
exercise clothes
that you wear can affect your workout. You need exercise clothes that
are comfortable. They should not be too binding, nor can they be too
loose. They must be breathable and sweat-wicking, as well.
And it does not hurt if your exercise clothes make you
look good, too!
The reasons why your exercise clothes must be comfortable
are obvious – just imagine using the exercise bike with a pair
of clingy, sweat-drenched clothes, or jogging on the treadmill in a
pair of pants that you practically trip over!
You really want to make sure that you wear exercise clothes that
offer great freedom of movement (both for safety and comfort) and
that also wick away sweat. So, you can see why the comfort of your
exercise clothes can play a part in how much you workout – if
you’re not comfortable, it is hard to motivate yourself to continue
doing something that will make you more uncomfortable – but
why must your exercise clothes look good, too?
Well, if you feel confident in how you look in your exercise clothes,
you will have fewer excuses as to why you shouldn’t got to the
gym. It can be pretty intimidating to head to the gym or even to the
park and to exercise in front of so many other people! Of course,
even if you are exercising at home, you are going to feel better about
your exercising if you feel better about how you look. You want to
make sure you are wearing exercise clothes that suit you.
