An exercise ball can help you achieve so many things. This is because an exercise ball can be used for so many different types of exercises. Here is one easy that you can try on your exercise ball. It works the quads and the gluts:

squat -- stand with your back to a wall and place the ball between you and the wall, at your lower back. Space your feet shoulder width apart, and have them out far enough that when you squat down, your knees do not bend over your feet when you bring your thighs to a parallel with the floor. Squat slowly down, bringing your knees to a 90 degree angle. Your back will roll up the ball until it is at the shoulders. Stand up slowly. Do two sets of 30. For added difficulty, hold the squat in the down position and/or hold weights in your hands and up against your chest.

And an exercise ball is not just great for workouts, one can make an excellent office chair, as well. In fact, sitting on an exercise ball at your desk will help you strengthening your abs and back. It will also help you improve your posture. Why not get a little bit of a workout while you work?
